HARBINGER – VLOG #2 – Locations

The HARBINGER team sits down to discuss some of the fantastical 17 unique locations of the film in this second installment of the VLOGs. Locations manager, Carlene Cearley, and producer, Andrew Martin, also discuss some of the challenges in finding the right locations that fit the production's needs. HARBINGER Illustrated Poster Launched!

Usually sketching detailed illustrations of plants and flowers, HARBINGER's art director, Brenda Vienrich, turned her pen on key elements of the film to create this new illustrated poster. The artwork features an oak leaf, Harold's cassette tape with headphones, stars, woodworking tools, and the iconic masks of the main characters.

Goodbye, Titan records final score

On Sunday, local post-rock powerhouse, Goodbye, Titan, knocked out the final score for HARBINGER at SoundPure in Durham, NC. The band, comprised of Allen Palmer, Jordan Griffin, John R. Pyburn, and JP Ferrell, has been working with production since the inception of the film. Their track, "Temples of Grey," was featured in the first concept teaser and will also reappear in the final version of the film. Location Story – Downtown Raleigh

Not only is downtown Raleigh the home of Drawbridge Media, it is also a location in the story of HARBINGER. Production broke ground in September 2013. The first shot of the entire film was a wide shot of Avery's truck leaving the city. Although not explicitly stated as Raleigh in the film, the skyline is clearly visible to the audience. Various entrances and exits were scouted until production settled on South Wilmington St. (Click photos to enlarge)  The crew implemented a hostess tray car mount to the driver's side door in order to capture the action inside the cab.
